Holiday Notice

Presidents Day Holiday Notice

City of Glendale offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15 in observance of Presidents Day.
For all households whose scheduled garbage and recycling service falls on the holiday, city sanitation crews will provide service the following day.

The Glendale Municipal Landfill will be closed. For more information about the city’s Sanitation services, call (623) 930-2660.

Buses will be running the normal weekday schedule. The Gus Bus will only operate on one route. Dial-a-Ride will operate on a reservation-only basis. Reservations must be made by noon on Friday, Feb. 12. For details about the holiday transit schedule, call (623) 930-3500.

In addition, Glendale’s three public libraries will be closed, as well as the Glendale Visitor Center.
While the Glendale Municipal Airport will remain open during the holiday, the airport’s administrative offices will be closed.

However, the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center will be open on this holiday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
