Even if you're sure your finished paper is perfect, let it sit overnight and read it over again in the morning. Unclear statements and typos have a way of popping out overnight. --Valerie

When searching for books, articles or websites on your topic, keep a thesaurus or a dictionary handy. Using related or synonymous keywords or phrases can  widen your search and uncover information on your topic that you may not have ordinarily found. –Cyndee

Save all websites you used for a particular paper in your internet favorites until you have turned in and received a grade for that paper. You never know how many times you will need to revisit that site! –Kristen
